Dad....or Padre as we call him

This is a great stamp from Eight Great Greetings. If you need a stamp set that is going to get you through many holidays, this is the set! This is a great card to give your dad - for his birthday, father's day, or just because.

And....if you look closely, the Whisper White base is textured with the Harlequin texture plate from Backgrounds 1 Texturz pad. Gives that layer a little 'oomph' without adding an extra layer. I love how the fat Chocolate Chip Ribbon tops it all off!

I stamped the 'dad' image twice, and cut out the middle part and popped it up on blocks to give it some dimension.

Card Recipe:
Stamp Set: Eight Great Greetings
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Paper: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Big Shot, Backgrounds 1 Harlequin Texturz plate, Chocolate Chip Ribbon, Dimensionals

Big Shot Quilt

Okay, so for club a couple of months back, I decided that I wanted to have them make a 'quilt'. See post here. I do have to say that now that I have the 1 1/4" inch square punch, making this was SOOO much easier! I adhered all the squares to a piece of Confetti White cardstock, and than ran it through my Big Shot.

I'm not sure about the sentiment being in black, maybe it should have been gray? I do like how it show-cases all the different DSP in Apricot Appeal that is in the Hostess DSP paper pack.

Card Recipe:
Stamp Set:
Eight Great Greetings
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Apricot Appeal, Apricot Appeal DSP (Hostess Pack)
Accessories: Big Shot, Top Note die, Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Silver Cord, Dimensionals

Big Shot Build a Daisy

Okay, so I just got the Big Shot machine and I am so in LOVE with it! There are so many possibilities, and it makes creating new things SOO easy! Even Duane thought it was a great tool! So, over the next few days I will be showing you some great things that I have made using my new toy!

This first one uses the Flower Daisies #2 die, which makes creating die-cut multi-dimensional flowers easy-peasy. I think this die looks fantastic with the new DSP from the Occasions mini catalog!

The middle of the flower is a rhinestone brad - gotta add a little bling! No sentiment makes it a completely universal card!

Card Recipe:
Stamp Set:
NONE!
Ink: NONE!
Paper: Basic Gray, Cameo Coral, Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Walk in the Park DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Daisies #2 die, Clear Rhinestone Brad, Dimensionals
