Oh man. The simplicity of this card makes me love it so much more! This will be making it into the mailbox of one of my fellow stampers - about a month late! Sorry Andrea!

Things I love about this card: Easy, can use for any occasion, great way to use up scrap DSP, super elegant! I hope you like this card as much as I do. I think I am going to have to try this out in some different color combinations and for different occasions!

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Great Friend
Ink: Versamark
Paper: Kraft, Pumpkin Pie, Bahama Breeze, Welcome Neighbor DSP
Accessories: White Organza Ribbon (held on with glue dot), Scallop Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, SAB Border Punch

Congrats!

This is a great card for any occasion. I used the chit-chat rub-ons and have just about any sentiment. It would be great to have a bunch of these types of cards on hand, and then add the rub-on for whatever occasion may pop up?!

The yellow on yellow layer isn't really my style, but I think I like how it turned out.

Recipe:
Paper: Summer Sun, Green Galore, Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: Dimensionals, Real Red Ribbon, Linen thread, Playground Buttons, Perfect Polka dots impressions folder, 5 petal flower punch, chitchat rub-ons

February Stamp Club

Back from vacation and back to stamping. And it's time for stamp club again!

This first card is a thank you card "note card" style. It gives you enough room to write a quick note to someone on just a card front. Easy way to create a bunch of thank you cards to have on hand! With a little 3-d flower in the corner by punch circles and then crinkling them up!

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Family Phrases
Paper: More Mustard, Old Olive, Welcome Neighbor DSP, Sweet Pea DSP
Ink: Melon Mambo
Accessories: Dimensionals, Earth Elements Brad (More Mustard),
Chocolate Chip Ribbon, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch,
1" Circle punch, 1/2" Circle Punch

Now, punch art has been all over the place, and is SOOO fun to create little critters out of your punches! This super cute little sheep reminds me of spring and of Easter. He is sitting on a corner bookmark, which would make a great gift for a reader in your life!

Recipe:
Ink: Basic Black (for sponging)
Paper: Sweet Pea DSP, Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories: 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Trio Flowers Punch,
Word Window Punch, Large Oval Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, booglie eyes

This last one is a great little 'welcome to the neighborhood' gift! Fill it with cookies, candies, or some other kind of snack mix for someone new to the neighborhood! I loved getting those kinds of gifts when we moved!

Stamp Set: Sweet Season
Ink: Old Olive
Paper: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Welcome Neighbor DSP
Accessories: Gift Bag (from Hobby Lobby), Wide Oval Punch, Dimensionals, Silver Brad, 3 flower punch, Silver Cord, Crushed Curry Ribbon, Horizontal Slit Punch

Laptop

I have added a little pizazz to my laptop. Why you ask? Duane and I have matching laptops, and we are forever saying "is that your laptop or mine?" So I solved our little dilemma. This is something from Stampin' Up!'s fantastic Definitely Decorative. I stole this idea right out of the catalog! These are vinyl semi-permanent 'stickers'. Semi-permanent, because you can take them off, but they cannot be re-applied. Check them out. They are great for your walls, or spicing up some other decor item in your house!
